RetailTill

Terms of Service

Last updated: April 25, 2026

Quick Answer: By using RetailTill you agree to use it only for lawful business operations, take responsibility for the data you enter, and accept that the service is provided as-is without warranty of fitness for any particular business model.

What does acceptable use mean?

You may use RetailTill to operate a legitimate business — processing sales, managing inventory, and recording customers. You may not use it for fraudulent transactions, money laundering, sale of illegal goods, or any activity that violates applicable laws.

Who is responsible for payments?

Stripe processes all card payments under their own terms of service. You are responsible for maintaining your Stripe account in good standing, including chargebacks, disputes, and refunds. RetailTill provides the user interface but does not handle the funds.

How are refunds handled?

Owners may issue refunds through the admin panel. Card refunds are sent to Stripe automatically; cash refunds are recorded in the transaction status only. You are responsible for delivering refunded cash to the customer.

Can my account be terminated?

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive activity. You may also terminate your account at any time and request data deletion.

What about liability?

RetailTill is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for lost revenue, missed sales, or any indirect damages caused by software issues, server downtime, or third-party service outages.

What law governs these terms?

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.

How are these terms updated?

We may update these terms periodically. The "last updated" date at the top reflects when the most recent version went into effect. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
